Stylee

Introduction

Stylee is an innovative AI-powered MVP application designed to simplify fashion look creation,
manage personal wardrobes, and facilitate seamless online shopping. The primary objective of this
project was to establish a foundational product that would enhance personalization, streamline
user interactions, and integrate effectively with online stores. Our mission was to deliver a
user-friendly app that provides intelligent recommendations, efficient wardrobe management, and
an improved shopping experience right from the initial launch.

Problems

At the outset, the existing version of Stylee lacked key features essential for a successful fashion
application. Users struggled with a cumbersome process for creating fashion looks and faced
challenges in managing their wardrobes efficiently. The app’s limited personalization capabilities
and suboptimal integration with online stores further complicated the shopping experience, leading
to reduced user satisfaction and engagement.

Research and Analysis

To address these issues, we initiated a comprehensive research phase, including 25 in-depth
interviews with potential users to identify their needs and pain points. This research highlighted
the need for a more intuitive process for fashion look creation and better personalization. We also
conducted a competitive analysis of existing fashion apps like Cladwell, Lookastic, and GlamOutfit
to understand best practices and identify features that would enhance user satisfaction. These
insights guided the development of Stylee’s MVP, focusing on essential functionalities and user
experience improvements.

Design Solutions

For the MVP, we concentrated on building core features that addressed the primary user needs. We
simplified the fashion look creation process by designing an intuitive interface with fewer steps and
clearer instructions. Enhanced wardrobe management was introduced with basic filtering and search
functionalities to help users organize their clothing items more efficiently. We also implemented a
streamlined shopping integration to facilitate a smoother purchasing experience. The design
emphasized ease of use and functionality, laying a strong foundation for future enhancements.

Decision

The design decisions for the MVP were aimed at establishing a solid product with essential
features. We developed a clear, user-friendly layout with distinct sections for outfit creation,
wardrobe management, and shopping integration. The visual design was kept modern and
straightforward, reflecting Stylee’s commitment to providing a high-quality user experience from
the start. Key features included a simplified outfit creation process, basic wardrobe management
tools, and an initial integration with online stores to test and refine these functionalities.

Results

The launch of the Stylee MVP led to valuable insights and positive initial results. Users appreciated
the simplified process for creating fashion looks and the enhanced wardrobe management features.

further improvement. The MVP successfully demonstrated the core functionalities and provided
a solid foundation for iterative development based on user feedback and usage patterns.

Conclusion

The Stylee MVP case highlights the importance of focusing on core functionalities and user needs
